Just had a PB give me a quote on gunite 400 sq ft pool, 13,500 gallons, 85 ft linear perimeter. 3.6 ft deep -6ft deep in NJ and would like all feedback please!

That price is very high. Normally for that kind of money you should be getting custom natural stonework everywhere, a far larger deck, and several additional bells and whistles.

Wow, that seems very expensive. My pool was built last fall. See my signature for a description as mine is nearly identical in size. I have a waterfall wall with two sheer waterfalls. I have no heater but I have two Jandy color LED lights. I also have the same SWCG with a PDA remote. I also have Travertine coping and around 300 sf of travertine decking. No spa. I spent less than 50k and that includes resodding around 3000 sf of yard.

I feel that he is overcharging, the electric alone $5,500 for only 50 ft, pebbletec and sheen cost builder same. How much should a jandy automatic system installed cost?

The plaster is light grey. I told the builder I wanted the water to look blue all the time and that is the color plaster he suggested.

I know it is different states, but I think that is really high. The spa, seems in line, but the pool seems about more than twice it should cost.

Are they adding $3200 to upgrade from pebble fina to pebblesheen?

PB said spa could run same pump as pool, said another pump would be overkill, since is 400 sq ft pool and pump is variable speed. Said could have blowers as volcano jet. Said that spa mode would bypass pool and would be fine. Please comment! Thx
