To check how liners tolerate high chlorine. Unfortunately, in spite of tearing up the house, I can't find my cutout liner pieces. I was planning on cutting a small section of pattern in half, and placing one half just below the water surface and keeping the other as a control. I doubt you'd ever find a handier source of very high level chlorine for a test like that.

That's how I cleaned the plastic treads on the ladder. Dipped them in so the bleach covered half, pull them out, wipe, rinse and reverse for the other side.
