    Kem-Tek 60% Algaecide

    Hello all,

Am getting to open the pool. Last year, I added polyquat to my regimen and it really helped. Not for everyone, but our pool is surrounded by big trees, so the polyquat helped me stay on top of algae.

I found Kem-Tek 60% Concentrated Algaecide on Amazon for a decent price. Would that be standard polyquat?

    Thanks!

From the PAN Database entry for the product, that's the right stuff. It has the ingredient Poly(oxyethylene) (dimethylimino) ethylene (dimethylimino) ethylene dichloride in 60% concentration.
