I have an inground fiberglass pool. Tonight was the first time for the season when we turned on the pool light. The kids discovered what looked like smoke trails heading off into the water. Upon closer inspection I noticed there is a lot of gunk on the light.
I am guessing the heat from the light is causing this to happen. I guess the question now is...how to clean it? My numbers have been good, with no combined chlorine however my water has been just slightly less than crystal clear?
What is the best way to clean this light and all of it's crevices? I just scrubbed it with the pool brush but it looks like that isn't going to do it.
