Autopilot install location

Hello!

I'm considering an Autopilot SWG. I am considering installing the manifold right after the heater output (indicated in the red box on the picture).

Is this location ok? Are there any issues with mounting it sideways like that?

That is not a good location. The AutoPilot manifold is designed to be installed on a horizontal pipe, with the loop pointed up. Installing it there would allow hydrogen gas to accumulate in the heater, potentially leading to an explosion.

Well that wouldn't be very good and it would probably upset my wife.

What if I came out of the heater straight into the manifold (with the loop pointed up) ? My fear there is the static pressure increase created by the 3 90degree elbows that would be needed to complete the circuit.
