Planning to wire up the new motor this weekend

Re: Solid vs Stranded Wire

What size breaker are you using ... that determines the wire size ... assuming you do not have some ridiculously long run.

The pump is only 10A, so you could use a 15A breaker with 14 AWG wire ... again if the run is not too long.

So I figured out where the algae was hiding that was impacting my overnight drop test...

More to come as we roll. Off to Home Depot for some electrical parts

It's installed!

There was a little confusion on the L2 post ... That is where your unswitched hot leg goes. I don't think that matches the side of the pump but it is what the engineering drawing on the century site has. Other than that and a nail in my tire from the HD run it has been uneventful.

So this is the water flow on low (and I can't hear the pump at all)

And this is the water flow on high

On high there is no perceptible difference from the B855. I'm glad I went with the b2983 instead of the 84. High with the 84 just would have been too much.

Not all the way cleaned up but you get the picture

Pressure on high is 22 low is 9

We like it! Sounds like a brook.
