It is good to hear that you have identified the cause of the stain, once you have it lifted remember you will need to add a sequestrant to keep them from redepositing, and that sequestrants do break down over time, so must be periodically added. Remember though that this still leaves your other chemical levels at or near the tipping point where they can cause other types of problems.

I would suggest getting the chemistry under control first. A stain is unsightly, but it has no effect on your water. Since truly eliminating stains sometimes requires drastic chemistry changes, we suggest getting the pool fixed and understanding the pool first. Take care of the stains later.
