Have had the new system up for two weeks. compupool36 on a 12000 gal pool. ph 7.5, cya 50, alk 100 salt 3500. Running the system at 40% for 6 hrs/night with no use of pool yet. My cl is only around 2. It seems it should be higher with a 36 at 40%. I saw you recommend higher cya levels. Any thoughts?

You certainly want a higher CYA level, which will also increase the FC level at the same percentage setting. We recommend CYA between 70 and 80 with a SWG.
FC at 2 with a SWG and CYA at 50 is acceptable, though I like to have a little more margin that that and would aim for 3.
