Easytouch wireless controller vs Screenlogic

Just got an Easytouch system installed and trying to decide which wireless controller to get. I already have a bunch of networked computers and Android tablets/phones (and an old ipad the kids are using). Is there any disadvantage to the Screenlogic system over the regular wireless controller?

One thing to consider is that the wireless remote is splash/water proof, so you can safely use it by the pool or spa (eg. adjust spa temperature or change the pool color mode)
Not sure you can safely use a tablet or phone by the pool, unless it has a waterproof case. I had a misfortune taking a dip with my brand new phone - somehow it never worked again after that short swim
