Water Clarity Question

My pool water became cloudy ( blurry ) . Looks fine from above the pool but when swimming its blurry. Is it algae ?

This is a 20k SWG pool . My current readouts are :

FC : 5
Salt : 3200
CYA : 40
TA : 110
pH : 7.7
Pho: 300

Pool is been getting warm ~88 - 90 degrees. Its covered with a solar cover. Pump runs for 6 hours / day.

Should I shock the pool ? Let pump run longer ? What else could be causing water to not be clear ?

Your FC of 5 ppm is good for your CYA of 40, but do you know what your CC is? You could also run an OCLT (see link in my sig) to see if there is anything organic trying to set up shop in the water that has not yet made it presence known visually aside from the water getting a bit cloudy .

Barring a pool party or suddenly high bather load within the past day, I don't think pump run time is the culprit here.
