New to TFP, New to Pool Care, Native to Northwest Arkansas

Hello everyone! Thought we'd say hello and introduce ourselves.

My wife and I bought a home this last winter and it has a pool. Neither of us have ever maintained a pool but we both always loved the idea of having our own pool. So we're looking forward to diving into the forum posts and learning all there is to know about the BBB method (which I was relieved to discover after seeing chem prices at the local pool shops).

We just opened up the pool last week and cristened it this Tuesday when outdoor temp finally reached low 80's and the water hit 72deg . BRRRRR! The slide was a big hit with everyone, not just the kids.

Looking forward to many more sunny days. Here's a pic taken prior to everyone swimming. It's cleared up nicely just in the last couple of days.
