Salt System Question

If I adjust the output purifier power on my Auto Pilot salt system how long does it take to get an accurate FC reading so I can tell what impact the adjustments had? Assuming I keep the filter pump run time the same I am trying to nail down my FC. This is a new pool filled a few weeks ago. Salt is at 3100 ppm and has been stable but my FC went from 2.5ppm to 10ppm in 3 days. I am assuming 10ppm FC is not safe for swimming. Do I wait it out at this point and hope the sun breaks it down some? It has been raining, cool and cloudy the last few days. Will a few days of hot sun break it down? I adjusted my salt system down by 5% to see if that helps.

I would turn it down by more like 25%. You can turn it off and half your FC level will be gone with in a few days... 10 is not too high for swimming. Safe to swim up to shock level - refer to the CYA chart.
