FC 2.5

TC 2.5
CYA 35
PH 7.2
TA 60 ( Will bring up using Baking Soda)
CH 50

Leslie Pool Man says I need the CH brought up even for my Liner above Ground Pool, Really? Im not thinking so but looking for others op on this. Thanks much!

Wait...let me guess...I think I know this one... Leslies sells Calcium Increaser? Am I right? What do I win? :whoot:

There's only two reasons to put Calcium in a vinyl pool:
1) It's brand new and the warranty requires periodic testing documentation and a minimum CH maintained.
2) You get a lot of foaming around the returns. Calcium will reduce that.

You Win again! Thanks for the reply.....Thank I will save that 50 bucks and go buy some beer! Oh by the way when I was in the pool store TWO individuals had CYA so high even the Leslie pool man said drain water about 4 ft and refill, same with the second couple getting their water tested.....Stop the PUCKS PUCKS PUCKS when will they learn............Thanks Richard!
