Hayward Swim Pure (H 40)..Not Generating Chlorine

Hello, my system is reading 3.7 on the display for "salt display", the default screen.
It use to read 2700 or 2800.
I do not know what happened.
It rained very hard one day so I added salt.
I cleaned the cartridge.
I even added stabilizer.
But, the reading is still showing 3.7
There are no error LED's lit.
I ran the system for 24 hrs straight and it went from 3.7 to 3.9 on the default screen.
I still do not understand how it used to show 2700 and now 3.9.

Push the diagnostic button one time. Switch toggle from "auto" to "super chlorinate" then back to "auto." Don't touch anything else and let it sit for a minute.

It has gotten into metric mode. It's reading 3.7 grams per liter of salt.
