The pump/filter I inherited sat on a kind of flimsy piece of plastic that I would like to replace. Any good ideas out there, can I just set everything on some paver type stones? Any problems with vibration noise based on what it is set on top of? Hit me with your ideas please!

I've had great luck with a local HVAC supply house with getting a compressor pad made of composite....had quite a few different sizes as well 36x24 36x36 36x48 to name a few....all about 3" in height....very light and easy to work with...

Here's mine as a work in progress.... 1 36x36 and 1 36x48

Mine sits on a couple of 2x3 patio stones (similar to RoadKings), the filter is heavy enough that it dosn't need to be secured, the pump base has holes for screws, got a concrete bit and screws, no problems.
From what I've seen I think this is a very typical AGP pump/filter set up.

Thanks, I like the HVAC supply store idea.

Cramar - I assume you don't experience any extra noise with the vibration on top of stone??
