Yes I used the powder. My FC was 2.5 and CC was 0.5. The water is crystal clear right now, looks gorgeous.

Testing this evening and TC is down to 1 (FC = 1, CC = 0) It's getting pretty hot here and my pool gets direct sunlight all day.
If your water still looks very clear, I would assume you do not need to do the shocking process for now and I would continue to get your cya up to protect your FC better. You probably should shoot closer to 50 ppm cya with your location and sun amount on the pool.
Just wanted to give a huge thank you to those who helped me get up to speed. Got a great BBB system worked out now and pool is looking gorgeous! Stumbling upon this site has saved me so much money...and saved my sanity as well
