I am having a pool built in Orlando Fl. Last week they sprayed the gunite during a light rain. A few hours later the sky opened up to a down pour. The rain caused the gunite on the lower half of one of the walls to wash out in several locations. My pool builder is saying that this is easy to chip out and reapply. Has anyone experienced this? Are we ok to just chisel out and reapply?

While that may not be an issue, it sure doesn't look good. In my opinion I think it should be an easy fix, however I am NOT an expert at all.
