Thank you in advance for any help here.

I have a 220v Waterway blower on my spa (or hot-tub...not sure of the's connected to in-ground pool) and I was hoping to be able to swap the standard switch w/ a dimmer to reduce the airflow when desired. Right now, when its on, it's way to active for me. I've read on a few sites of people doing this, but I'm at a loss because I am only familiar with 110 wiring. When I remove cover to the wire housing on the blower itself, there are only 3 wires, but the current switch has 5. Wasnt sure if maybe 110 was feeding the actual blower, and the other leg was feeding another component (thermostat maybe)?? Thoughts??

Thanks again
