Is it normal for an IG ladder to move a little bit?

Hi, I just installed my ladder for an inground pool. When you use it, it has a little give.
The plastic feet that rest on the pool wall move (maybe)a couple inches.
Is there any worry of wearing on the liner, and causing a leak?Thanks

couple inches seems like a lot... mine is pretty sturdy.

Its hard to tell how much its moving, but it is definitely moving.
I was just wondering if movement is normal. Thanks
