Can anyone recommend an online vendor for pool supplies? Specifically I am looking to stock up on chlorine shock. Average price I find is about $2.50 per 1 lb bag.

Out of curiosity, why do you need that much powdered chlorine?
You do realize that they are adding either CYA or CH to your pool, both of which require water replacement when the levels get too high.
Following the methods we recommend, there is never a need to "shock" the pool with these powders.
