I have a pool that was built in the mid 80's
the diving board stand looks like it needs to be replaced. is this something i could find online and if so what is likely the manufacturer I would need to look at?
heres some pix of the diving board that is leaning forward from the crack in the stand/spring

How is the diving board itself, any stress cracks showing in the fiberglass, etc? I may be a bit paranoid about board condition given one of mine once snapped in half when it was 10-15 years old when a 260 pound man jumped on it.

You should remove the board and stand for safety, and to see if the bolts look OK at ground level. The board might be from S.R Smith. If you send them pictures, and bolt measurements, they should be able to advise you.

Measure bolt size, spacing and distance to the waterline. Then cover the bolts so that no one gets injured on them.

now after posting these pictures i'm embarrassed to say i might need a whole new diving board and stand.
My next plan of attack is keep soaking rusted nuts and take it off to replace. Hopefully I can get them to break free.
