I have a significant leak around the area of the electrode cap. The cap is not cracked all the way up the entire side of the cap but the bottom has a chip broken off about 1/4" in length. I also see water coming out around where the electric cable plugs into top of electrode element. Not sure all my terminology is correct. It's not easy to pin point the leaks but seems like more than one.
I am hoping its the cap and o ring which is on order and not the element. They cost over $500 to replace. I take good care of the element,every year I soak in muriatic acid/water solution. It looks new.
