Is it ok to throw trichlor directly in the pool?

I'm sick looking for CYA here in Thailand, so I'm about to start using Trichlor to rise up my CYA level. It seem like I need to add 2 kg. to rise CYA to 40 ppm, I plan to add it 100 g. a day (truning my SWG off).

Is that a good idea?

My trichlor is in form of powder, not as fine as flour but not big enough to call a tablet. Can I throw 100g of that directly to my pool daily?

No. YOu don't want ANY of it to settle and stay on the bottom. Pre-dissolve it in a bucket and then pour it in front of a return so it will distribute throughout the pool.
