Just bought a new clear 12 mil solar cover from in the swim and its a foot too wide and a lot thinner then the last one

Better too wide than too narrow ... just trim it.
The thickness does not really matter, as we see on the forums, they all tend to last about the same amount of time any.

Yeah just bummed me out I had to wait extra long and paid a bit more for something that wasn't cut to spec and cheaper. :|
