JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I HAD IT . WATER BONDER ?

That water bonder is on my suction side. It gets connected to your pool bonding wire.

I just had an inspection, he wants the #8 around the pool but no distance was mentioned, he wanted any metal attached to it, ladder ground from lights etc.

He also wanted a in water ground plate, he said usually in the skimmer attached to it.

I took a sheet of copper 12x12 folded it into 3x4 square drilled a hole thru it and the skimmer box where its below water level attached a lug to the #8

that #8 wire is then mounted to a rebar in the concrete curb of the enclosure but I suppose a ground rod would do.

Never said anything about tying in the motor ground.
