general fault chlorine generator 25500?

Been running the salt a little high for about 2 months now. 3900ppm.As the water went down I noticed the level went to 4200 then the general fault.I added water then noticed a general fault and it said 25500ppm.Would this be caused by the salt level or is my 7 year old sensor bad?It is a jandy 1400 system. The generator is new but the sensor is not.How do I check the codes in the panel? Are their some buttons I need to hold down to get the code?

There has been a troubleshooting guide posted before called "AquaPure and PureLink Troubleshooting Manual". I tried to repost, but it is too large.

Power off the unit and back on and watch the display on unit. After 3-4 minutes it will flash the fault codes.

If you got 7 years of life from the sensor, consider yourself very lucky.
