Hayward H 250-How to clean the flame center

I am new to this forum and I searched on how to clean the flame center on a Hayward H-250 and was not able to find anything. I would appreciate it if someone would point me in the right direction or answer my question for me.

The flame sensor and ignitor are one in the same. You can try to clean it with emery cloth but if you mess up the spacing between the rods you will not get the correct spark. Better to just replace it.
