I bought a house a few years ago that has a pool. The previous owners moved out before I moved in. Over the last few years I have figured out most of the issues with the pool. The one issue I have not looked into yet is the pressure side cleaner. It has a booster pump, and an old pressure side cleaner. Neither worked when I moved in, so I am making the assumption the pump is out. The cleaner is really old and has needs repairs. My question is whether I should replace the pump and the cleaner, or just get a cheaper suction side cleaner? Is the performance of the pressure side cleaner worth the extra cost?

Welcome...and does it have a deep end or all flat bottom? In ground or AGP and surface type.
Robotic is another option. There are several lower cost units out there now. But having more details about your pool will help us help you!!
