I must further comment a resounding YES ...your pool should definitely have a fast turn over rate and in my opinion 4 - 6 hrs ......however I have seen so many pools private & public that have been under built from the start in Bali & cannot turn over even in 10hrs....

While a fast turnover rate is quite important for a commercial pool, it is relatively unimportant for a residential pool. In commercial pools large amounts of debris enter the pool from all of the swimmers. But in a residential pool there is far far less need for filtering and turnover rates as slow as once every 24 hours work out just fine.
