Calcium question ??.

Just tested for CH with my TF-100
It is 100 i have a fibertech coated pool
Should i try to raise it. Or does it really matter?
If so whats the best product to use ??

You essentially have a fiberglass pool with the Fibertech having been applied. There is no need to add calcium in that situation.

Actually, I thought the CH recommendations were similar to plaster for some reason? They are in Pool School ...

Wiil low CH cause any problems with my heat exchanger ?

Low CH is typically not an issue with anything other than plaster. High CH levels can result in scale developing in the pipes of a heat exchanger so you wouldn't want it too high.

Fiberglass will experience cobalt leaching from the gelcoat at low CH levels. We don't really know how important that is, so we recommend CH around 220-320 for fiberglass pools.
