Anyone ever heard of a system called: Simple Salt?

There about 300 bills and I was going to buy a Jandy but wondering if I should try this system. All feedback is appreciated.

Traditional salt systems can cause corrosion to the steel wall and top rails. More and more pool manufacturers will not warranty a pool that uses a traditional salt system. The Simple Salt System utilizes salt in a unique way, simply kick starting the process, to provide better quality water which is also environmentally friendly and safe for your pool. It provides a controlled and testable amount of natural minerals, in this case copper, of which the ideal range is between 0.3-0.5 ppm.

Shock is necessary with any pool maintenance program.

Sounds iffy to me.

It's a gimmick. It's a copper system and you still have to shock the pool on a regular basis. You're much better off with a real swg. Read the alternative sanitizer article.

Been looking at Jandy and now compupool. Not sure which compupool to get. Does it matter if its inground or above ground with compupool. The Jandy AquaPure EI is about $475.00.

Realize that we recommend you size the SWG 1.5-3 times the size of your pool. So you should be looking in the 30-40k size range.

Yes, was looking at the compupool CPSC24 but not sure if this is for above ground or inground.
Pool should be 17-18,000 gallons

It does not matter ... the only thing affected by AG vs IG is the pump ... nothing else.
