    My pool timer

My pool timer gear are moving, but it won't set. I have to do it manually, it is the common yellow dial. It is set right with markers, what do I need to replace?

I'm not sure what you mean by "set". It won't turn on and off? Is it an Intermatic timer?

Sounds like you need the trippers for turning on and off. The second one down are what most use. HD or lowes should have them. http://www.intermatic.com/en/Products/T ... ppers.aspx

It sounds like OP has the lugs (trippers). Are they screwed down tight?
