So ph is at 7.9 and ta is at 60 pool school says to adjust ta first but wouldn't adding s.bi-carb raise ph to 8+? But lets say I adjust Ph first, wouldn't adding m-acid make ta to low @ 6-? Thanks guys, am I overthinking this routine adjustment? Ps... to raise ph use s.carb (regular baking soda right?)
All other chem is in acceptable range.

I would lower the pH a bit and monitor TA. Raising the TA would result in the pH climbing faster. With the lower TA, your pH may stabilize. Although this assumes you are Not using trichlor pucks.
