I have caught 2 more since I have last posted this. Those things are CREEPY looking. It's like some fugly alien looking bug and it has 2 flippers. I killed them. I recall seeing lots of them in my Moms i/g. I do know they bite! and it hurts!
Those are Water Boatmen.
Having a CL of 3.5 isn't going to bother them much I don't think. I just pull them out when I find them, but they can jump and will find their way back into your pool quickly if given the chance.
