What is the Quietest 1.5 hp 2 speed pump available?

My current pump, 6 or 7 yr old hayward tristar 1.5hp is being rplaced soon. I have a small yard, filter pump area is close to main deck. need low noise application. house is in Maryland, short pool season compared to AZ.

In AZ I have the VS pentair, I don't want to invest that kind of dough here, so 2 speed will probably suffice. does anyone know if my EOS could even control a VS pump? I think it will be able to control a 2 speed.

The quietest 2 speed I have run across is the Hayward Super II dual speed, it will not be as quiet as the variable speed motor as the variable speed motors use a different technology which make them quieter than your standard motor.
