Hayward Multiport 711 13 replacement

We have a Harward Vari-flo Valve Model SP711-13 that is 15-16 years old.

It was in storage for about 12 of those 15 years until we put our pool back up last year. It was leaking water at the end of last season.

Is it worth trying to fix or should we just replace it? If replace, what should we replace it with?
 
I would suggest just replacing the multiport valve as this is a relatively easy fix and really one of the only major pieces on the filter which needs to be replaced periodically. The SP711-13 has been replaced by the SP0714T Valve.
