Price Difference Between AquaTrol HP and HP TL

Is there a simple explanation why the twist lock version of the Aquatrol is so much more expensive than the blade type? I realize the receptacle on the AquaTrol and the plug are twist lock but what else is different. Where I live Twist lock is required so my pump cord is twist lock.

It is probably because the regular versions sells better so it gets discounted more heavily. There is a much smaller price difference between TL and not TL in the RJ version.
