Hello friends,

been adding CYA over the last week. had a nasty storm blow through on Monday night so clean up was a mess. My pool is flanked by 3 huge oak trees. anyway, so I added 2.5 gallons of 12% CL yesterday to go from greenish to clear (plus I had not added any in a couple days, and was in the process of increasing my CYA). So, all the CYA is in now, the pool has been cleaned and vacuumed, and here are the results as of tonight:

FC: 10.5
CC: .5
TC: 11
pH: 7.2
T/A: 130
CYA: 40
Temp: 66

whatdoyathink? I think I should bring the pH up just a bit.

Hey, Pez,

The only thing you need is a little more temperature in that pool and you're ready to swim!!

The pH is just fine. If it drifts one way or another, it'll probably be slowly upwards so I think I'd leave it just as it is.

Very, very nice work on your chemistry. If we had a classroom, you'd get moved to the front row!!
