Hi guys..Might be a crazy question, but gotta ask. Water temp is less than 60 and I think I remember that water should be 70 or better to test CYA. As I keep my home cool, is it ok to warm the test water in the microwave for a few moments? Maybe I'm being A/R, but doing my first test of the year to get ready for my shock process. Your thoughts, as always, certainly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

That seems like a bad idea ... but I am not sure how the chemistry would be affected. Might be better to just hold it under hot running water to warm it up?
Jason....that was going to be my second solution. Still curious about "nuking" the water....TKS Jason!!!
I'd try it both ways just to see what happens. I suspect that as long as you just nuke it long enough to warm it, it'll be fine. In fact I'd try it cold too while I was experimenting!
