    Pool Liner Replacement - inground

How many of you have replaced the pool liner yourself? I have a 20x40 with covered stairs and I'm debating the professional versus DIY method. Roughly I can find a liner for 1200 versus paying a pro 3200. My issue is also time, I'd have to use vacation days to do this (I'm a father of 4 children all under 5 years old). Anyway, just wanted to hear how others fared at this and how often you've had to replace the liner.

Also have a broken Polaris pump with no polaris and a broken AquaCal Heat Pump...inherited from last owner.

I have 25x52 liner pool with covered steps. I have DIY'ed 2 liners in it. YOu will need a LOT OF HELP. I had four guys the first time and 5 guys the second time and it was not too many.

A pro can knock it out with just a couple of guys but you will almost surely need lot's of help.
