Inground pool stair

Greetings,

As we approach the opening of our pool, we are mostly sure that this year we will replace our liner, which will also require new skimmers, and bottom drain. Our stairs is not looking all that great and have several cracks on it already. As of last year it was not causing the pool to leak but it may be just a matter of time before it does. So, my question is: is there a way to repair the stair so I do not have to replace it? If I have to replace it, what should I look for on a new one?

If they're fiberglass steps, they can be repaired while the pool is empty. A pool builder or even a marine repair place may take a look at then and give you an estimate.

I think it is fiberglass, so I will take a look at it. Now, is this possible to DIY?
