I've been trolling for a while now but rather casually. I decided to step up and become a fully fledged Member.

Why join? I've been a pool owner for almost 6 years now but inherited a 20-30 year old body of water. 6-7 Weeks ago we bit the bullet and renovated. Now I'm paranoid as heck and want to do things right.

What I hope to learn: the do's and don'ts you can't learn from the back of a chlorine pack.

Likes: coffee, cars, home theatre, movies, coffee, Apple, WiFi, PC gaming

Dislikes: Kreepy Kraulies, people who turn out of straight lanes, rude people, being a corporate slave

My own areas of expertise: computing, hardware, software, WiFi

A few quick notes - we use the metric system here ie. metres, litres. Spelling is also UK based. I'll convert to gallons where applicable but the other things will remain (and perhaps irk some).

Metric may irk some but go ahead and post everything metric if you'd like. Most of us can make the conversion easily enough. Even the pool calc has a metric mode. I'm in the minority that think the US should have gone metric 40 years ago when the push came along.
