In ground hot tub - no jet function

We have an inground hot tub that is experiencing an issue.
Everything has worked fine for years until we did some home remodeling and the electricians reconnected the spa control (on the wall outside) to the control panel at the pump.
Now everything works but the jet (high speed) doesn't work.
I have scoured the web for any schematics with no luck.

I am hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this. I am an engineer and am comfortable working on this, but it is difficult when there is no reference info.

The control panel is a Catalina RC4a

Can you add some pictures of the equipment and the control panel and wiring? That may help someone here offer suggestions.

I can add pics, thx for the suggestion.

My hunch is that there is a wire not connected correctly from the outside control panel to the main control panel in the basement.
I think this because the system worked fine until the electricians unhooked and then re-connected everything so new siding could be installed.

What I am trying to figure out is how to 'force' or test the high-speed motor relay so I can verify the control circuitry is fine before I rip the control panel off the wall outside by the hot tub.

Why not call the electrician back out to correct?

I thought about that, but they really do not know anything about how this system functions.
They just cut and re-spliced the cable from the outside control panel to the main control box.
It may be worthwhile though.
