    Time of day and Circulation

One of my customers wants to run their pump at night all year long because they don't want to hear the pump running when they're outdoors.

Seems like a bad idea. No?

Re: Time of day and Circulation

    Does not matter.

There are VERY slight advantages to running in the day time, but not enough to matter ... especially if the electricity is cheaper at night as in some cases.

Really only need to run the pump long enough to keep the dirt out. Chemical circulation is adequate with just a couple hours a day. So, likely they could greatly reduce the amount of time the pump is running any way ... and save a lot of money if it is a single speed pump.
