Hi all,

I just purchase a new AGP, went with backyard leisure Venture resin construction 18 ft.round pool.
I upgraded the standard filter to a Heyward 1.5 H.P DE filter.
Smart Pool Salt generator (up to 18000 gal pool)
Upgraded the liner from 20 mm to a 30 mm by Swimline
Pool comes with a ladder that lockes up, 8 - 40 lb bags of salt, pole, vacuum, net, screen. etc..

Any input or recommendations is greatly appreciated.

BTW, I am having the pool professionally installed by a reputable company with references.

Anyone every do any aftermarket LED lighting?

- read pool school several times, all the info you need is there
- get a quality drop based test kit - no strips

use the time between purchase and install to learn water maintenance so the water is kept in top quality and backed up by quality test results.

How are you powering the pump? Do you have a dedicated electrical circuit?

Yes, I am having 2 poles installed behind pool area, 1 quad, on each side.

Thank you!

If you have an option to go with a lower hp without making the filter smaller... I would. In addition I would see if you can get a 2-speed instead of a single speed motor. Ideally a 3/4 to 1 hp 2-speed pump would be a good choice for your pool.
