Backwash your filter with your pump at 3000 rpm

3000 is way too fast for most plumbing systems. You don't want to use a low speed, but generally medium speeds are fine (2000 to 2400). Larger DE filters need faster speeds, but this is a fairly small filter on a fairly small pool.

Re: Question about PSI

That is maximum, the minimum is far lower. An IntelliFlo at 2400 RPM is going to be moving 80+ GPM on a typical pool in backwash mode. Meanwhile, running near full speed is dangerous with the small plumbing typically used on a smaller pool. A whole variety of things can go wrong starting with losing prime and working up to damaging the plumbing (unlikely but possible).

The manual doesn't say anything at all on this topic beyond 160 GPM being the maximum flow rate.
