Run pump prior to testing?

I'm curious about this. I usually test my water at about 6:00 pm and my pump starts running for the second period of each day at 4:00 pm. On the weekends, I sometimes test earlier. Should the pump be running for a certain period of time prior to testing?

To get the most consistent results the pump should be running for 30 minutes to an hour before taking a water sample.
