Hubby was going to mow around the pool and went to unplug the pump and when he did, the plug end part stayed in the outlet! Please tell me I can just replace the cord somehow? Would hate to have to replace the whole pump/filter because of one cord. Its only like 4 years old.

You certainly can replace the cord (well, maybe not you personally 
). If the plug end just came off the cord you can just replace it. If you want to replace the entire cord just get one the same length and gauge and remove the back cover from the pump motor and it should be apparent how to replace it. You may need a couple of spade terminals but they're a common item.

Yes...we HAD to mow! We are in Texas near the gulf coast. Wake up to 40 degree weather only to be in the 70's by after lunch.
