Bought a home with a old sylvan pool. Was great to swim in last year but noticed a lot of problems to look forward to before the next season. The kids made a game of who could dive and get the most tiles from the bottom of the pool. 
Then noticed coping was hollow sounding and some were moving. I could see why the previous owner refused to spend any money on the pool at the sale of the home. Had 1 guy give me a idea of about $15000 to replace tile and install new coping.
