Ledge Lounger

Those look exactly like the ones at the Golden Nugget Casino in Vegas. They sit in about 6" of water and seem comfortable. I tried searching on-line for those but couldn't find a thing. Hopefully someone will know where to get them.

Sadly, $650 a piece is a little too much for me, anyone have a similar idea? These are perfect, just too much for my budget at the moment, the pool build and backyard keep throwing me "money surprises" :)

Any direction would be helpful!

Looking at the construction (and price), I would assume they are a good sturdy/heavy build, so I don't know about the wind. I was hoping I would get some other suggestions, but the post is a little dead? I wouldn't mind spending $300 for 4 loungers, but $650 is tough.

I sell those, and yes they WILL float.

Hey DB, we are having a pool installed with a 12" deep tanning ledge. How far down will these loungers go into the water? I was thinking these may work on my ledge if they touch bottom. I know most ledges are about 6" deep, but we wanted ours a little deeper.

Thank you!

Tom

We are building a large tanning deck for just the purpose of putting a couple loungers on it. These Ledge Loungers are certainly steep, but we've decided we are going to take the plunge and invest in 2 of them. Our pool is about 8-9 weeks from finishing (hopefully - we just started), so I'll try to remember to post back on our feedback.

Would love to hear of any Ledge Lounger owners in the meantime!

I did have an email correspondence with someone at the company and covered a couple questions posted above:

1. These are a bit buoyant as well - and are designed to work well in 9-10" (or less) of water. Their website says "The recommended depth for the Ledge Lounger Chaise is up to 9”. However, if your pool is already built, you can use the Ledge Lounger Chaise in up to 10" of water. We are hard at work on a non buoyant option for ledges deeper than 10" so keep checking back."

2. I noticed this on their website as well - seems maybe they absorb some water which adds weight (and preventing them from blowing or moving)??? "The Ledge Lounger Chaise weights only 35 lbs. When you receive it, you will submerge it in your pool, fill it completely with water then, pull it on to the ledge. Once in place, weighting over 100 lbs, the Ledge Lounger Chaise will stay put. Clean it in place with common household cleaners. Removing them from the pool is not necessary but if desired the Ledge Lounger Chaise is easily stackable."

Anyway - I've searched for 3 months for something similar but cheaper and nothing exists (apart from the folding one linked above, but I don't like that design).

I had my pool built with a 18" deep tanning ledge, so standard loungers are just right. The water comes level with the seating surface.

Are there rules as to what is okay to place on the ledge and what isn't? I would kill for 2 of the ledge loungers - but I don't have that kind of money to spend . . . shhh, I am already $15K over on my pool!
